Our chapter, Ohio Chapter 10 - "For the troops" was founded in June of 2007 by a group of five women. The desire of our chapter was to offer support to our service members, as well as, each other. As mothers, relatives and friends of service members we understand the meaning of the words "I'm going to deploy". Our sense of patriotism has allowed us to send care packages monthly, support service members back home, local veterans and their families in need, honor veterans in nursing facilities along with providing community awareness of our mission. Our care packages bring a little ray of sunshine to deployed service members days as they protect our freedom.

We held our first meeting at the Eagles in Lancaster, Ohio where we signed our chapter papers. We then met at the home of one of our members and outgrew the space, moving on to the Recovery Center. In the fall of 2009 we moved to our current location at Mills Memorial Church, 402 N. Broad St. Second Floor, Lancaster, Ohio. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month with packing beginning at 6:00 p.m.
